Dr. Scott Sargent DVM, BSc. (Agr.)
Dr. Scott Sargent special interests are in veterinary digital xrays, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and dentistry.
Dr. Sargent earned his BSc. in Animal Science in 1986, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, both from the University of Guelph. He also is a 1982 graduate of Crestwood Secondary School in Peterborough, Ontario. Scott lives in Cavan with his wife Trish and their son Mackenzie. They own two dogs: one pugs, one husky cross who often frequent the clinic during business hours. Scott and Trish also own 5 cats, 3 horses and 17 laying hens, on their farm. Along with their menagerie of animals they also manage a small vinyard where they grow grapes to make their own vintages as well as to sell to local wineries.
Dr.Susan Gambling DVM
Dr.Susan Gambling graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989, and then completed a small animal internshipat the Atlantic Veterinary College in P.E.I. Since then she has been living and practising Veterinary Medicine in the Rice Lake area. Susan and her husband Rick live on a hobby farm near Baileboro where they share their lives with a variety of animals. Roxie, a Shih Tzu, and Sydney, a Border Terrier, (pictured here with Sue) are just two of their many pets. In her spare time if Sue is not jogging with Sydney, you may see her riding one of her many horses.
Trish Mackenzie-Sargent B.Sc.
Trish Mackenzie-Sargent earned her BSc. in Biology at the University of Guelph, graduating in 1993. She worked for many years as a pharmaceutical representative in the field of Animal Health. She is taking on a Hospital Manager role at Peterborough West Animal Hospital and enjoys working with a talented staff, in a progressive yet friendly atmosphere.
Andrea Rogers
Andrea Rogers is a Registered Veterinary Technician and a member of the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technologists. She graduated from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown campus in 2001. Andrea lives with her husband Jason and daughter Rachel as well as their 4 cats. She is a full-time technician with Peterborough West Animal Hospital.
Sam Dobbin
Sam Dobbin is the full-time receptionist and animal care professional at Peterborough West Animal Hospital. Sam is owned by her 2 cats, and her 3 dogs: Maverick (Chihuahua cross), Fiona (her boxer), and Vayda (Chihuahua).
Christie Lester, RVT Christie Lester is PWAH's full time Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Northern College with honours in 2003. Graduating from Kenner Colligate in 2001 she resides here in Peterborough with her two border collies, Moss and Polar.
